San Mateo neighborhood guide
Lauriedale is a pocket of condos and townhomes in southern San Mateo, near the Belmont city line and close to Highway 101. Laurie Meadows Park is right next door, and many of the complexes sit along Laurie Meadows Drive. The park puts green space right next door, and the freeway is a quick hop in either direction. Streets are flat and easy to walk.
The park has a playground, picnic tables, a ball field, soccer space and a dog park. Glendale Village and San Mateo Village are just to the west, with Casanova Park a short walk away. The shops along East Hillsdale Boulevard and at Hillsdale Shopping Center are a short drive north, and Belmont is just to the south. Highway 92 is a short drive north.
