Parrott Drive Hillsborough Homes and Neighborhood Guide
Hillsborough neighborhood guide
The Parrott Drive area is a small southern pocket of Hillsborough reached from the San Mateo side. It sits near the de Guigne estate on Crystal Springs Road, a family property tied to Count Christian de Guigne, who came to California in 1879 and married Mary Katherine Parrott. The main house, roughly 16,000 square feet, dates to about 1912 and remains a private residence.
The pocket sits on high ground with broad views toward the Bay. Because access runs through San Mateo, Alameda de las Pulgas, Highway 92 and the Hillsdale area are close at hand, along with Beresford Park. Like the rest of Hillsborough, it is purely residential, with large lots and no commercial streets of its own. El Camino Real and US 101 are a short drive east.
Parrott Drive is shaded. Borders are approximate, see the Hillsborough map for the full picture.
