Beverly Terrace San Carlos Homes and Neighborhood Guide

San Carlos neighborhood guide

Beverly Terrace is one of the largest neighborhoods in San Carlos, covering the hills west of Alameda de las Pulgas between San Carlos Avenue and Brittan Avenue, out toward Interstate 280 and the Belmont border. Winding streets climb past homes of many eras, and many lots have views of the bay or the western hills. Some streets are narrow, with limited parking.

Highlands Park sits at its center, on the former site of San Carlos High School, which closed in 1982. Heather Elementary is close by on Melendy Drive. The neighborhood also has a string of open spaces, including hilltop Vista Park, North Crestview Park, Crestview Park and the Big Canyon Park trails off Brittan Avenue. Interstate 280 is a short drive away.
