Clearfield Park San Carlos Homes and Neighborhood Guide
San Carlos neighborhood guide
Clearfield Park is the east side of San Carlos, between El Camino Real and the business district that runs toward Industrial Road and US 101. It is sometimes called Greater East San Carlos. The Caltrain line runs along its western edge, so the station and the north end of Laurel Street are a short walk for many homes.
Residential blocks here sit beside offices, labs, service shops and light industry, a mix that reflects San Carlos's long history as an early electronics center. Laureola Park, on the site of the former Laureola School, is the only city park east of El Camino Real and hosts Little League and youth soccer. The Hiller Aviation Museum at the San Carlos Airport and the freeway are both minutes away.
Clearfield Park is shaded. Borders are approximate, see the San Carlos map for the full picture.

Homes and Streets
Much of Clearfield Park was built in the 1940s after World War II. Original homes were mostly two and three bedroom houses, many under 1,000 square feet on flat lots of about 5,000 square feet, and a few homes are over a century old. Many have since been expanded or rebuilt. Bayport Court has larger two story homes built around 1987, and condos are mixed in near El Camino.
