Hillsborough Hills Homes and Neighborhood Guide

Hillsborough neighborhood guide

Hillsborough Hills is the northwest corner of town, next to the unincorporated Burlingame Hills area and close to Interstate 280. The land is hilly and heavily wooded, with the oak woodland typical of Hillsborough's slopes. Roads follow the contours of the hillside, and homes sit back on their lots behind trees and landscaping. The setting feels more like wooded canyon country than the flats below.

Since Hillsborough itself has few public parks, the closest public open spaces are Burlingame's Mills Canyon Wildlife Area and Ray Park. The Crystal Springs Regional Trail runs on the other side of Interstate 280. Hillsborough has no commercial districts, so shopping and services are in Burlingame and Millbrae, a short drive downhill. Trousdale Drive offers a quick route to the freeway.
