Redwood Village Redwood City Homes and Neighborhood Guide

Redwood City neighborhood guide

Redwood Village is likely the smallest of Redwood City's neighborhoods, set south of Woodside Road between the Caltrain tracks and Bay Road. Its edges jog in and out of unincorporated North Fair Oaks. The largest residential section, bounded by Charter Street, Spring Street, Douglas Avenue and Middlefield Road, is reached only by Flynn Avenue, Kaynyne Street and Sweeney Avenue, so its interior streets carry mostly local traffic.

Hoover School and its roughly ten acre park sit at the center, with turf playing fields, play structures, picnic tables and a public pool. Busy commercial streets wrap around the homes. Costco is at Charter Street and Middlefield Road, Sigona's Farmers Market is on Middlefield, and the Fair Oaks branch library and Fair Oaks Community Center are just across Middlefield.
