Edgewood Park Redwood City Homes and Neighborhood Guide

Redwood City neighborhood guide

Edgewood Park sits at Redwood City's north end, with Cordilleras Creek along its northern edge forming much of the border with San Carlos. El Camino Real and Alameda de las Pulgas frame it east and west, and Whipple Avenue runs along its south side. At just over 200 acres it is one of the city's smaller neighborhoods, and it is mostly flat apart from a hilltop section near Hilltop Drive.

Edgewood Road appears to follow the creek, with other streets fitted around it, so blocks come in irregular shapes. The city's historic resources inventory lists 90 Finger Avenue as built by Otto, August and Theodore Finger in 1855, which may make it one of the oldest houses still standing in town. Shops line El Camino Real, Sequoia Hospital is just over the line in Canyon, and Warwick Street is the only crossing of the creek between El Camino and the Alameda.
