Roosevelt Redwood City Homes and Neighborhood Guide
Redwood City neighborhood guide
Roosevelt is a mostly residential neighborhood surrounded by other Redwood City neighborhoods, with Jefferson Avenue on the north, Alameda de las Pulgas mostly on the west and Goodwin Avenue along part of the south. Roosevelt Avenue runs through the middle. Roosevelt School sits on the one hill in an otherwise flat area, and the Schaberg Branch Library, opened in 1959, is next to the school.
Red Morton Park is the big draw. At nearly 32 acres it is the city's second largest park, with sports fields, a public pool, a skate park, bocce courts, a rose garden, a community center and the Magical Bridge Playground, an all abilities playground covering more than an acre. Roosevelt Center and Key Market at Roosevelt Avenue and Upton Street, and Jefferson Plaza at Jefferson and the Alameda, cover everyday errands.
Roosevelt is shaded. Borders are approximate, see the Redwood City map for the full picture.
